hotels leuvenDuring my visit to Belgium last month, I had the oppurtunity of visiting a hotel in Leuven and to my surprise, the city turned out to be an ideal holiday destination. Only after my visit did i realise that the capital of the province of flemish-Brabant, Leuven, is perhaps the best place to enjoy an exciting holiday. Leuven, lies on both banks of the Dijle east of Brussels and is famous throughout the world for for it's magnificent architecture, it's internationally renowned University and beer. The city was founded in the 10th century and became economicaly important during the 12th century. It suffered heavily during the two world wars however, modern Leuven is well developed to charm its visitors.

While staying in one of the best hotel in Leuven centrum, there is plenty to keep you busy. If you are trying to find out the most beautiful medieval building in the world during your stay in Hotel Louvain
the city itself is the right choice. The magnificient 15th century town hall of this dynamic and thriving city is alone worth the trip. The city is also reknowned for its famous university, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Besides, a visit to Grote markt, Saint-Anthony's Chapel, the Linen Hall that now serves as a University Hall, the University Library, St Peter's Church, the summer rock festiavl Marktrock and Orchestras such as the famous Arenberg Orchestra are not to be missed.

The charm of Leuven is that it is not only small and friendly, but due to the universities, it is equally vivid and young. Lately, the city has stepped up its efforts to make tourists staying in Hotel Leuven, feel at home.
